the thirty second

Part two continues...

The following are various photos from Tempus Two. Their wine is quite decent. Although I'm not a wine connoisseur (I just love drinking), their Gewurztraminer and Cabernet Sauvignon is pretty darn good. And I don't get paid by them to advertise.

Now, this vineyard, Tulloch, is amazing.. I always spend too much money when I shop there. Get the Verscato. I think I bought 4 bottles from them this time round.

This place sounds like 'whore house'. Establishment is located in Maitland. An interesting suburb around the Hunter Valley region.

A couple walking down the streets of Maitland.

This shot was taken by sudden. There was no posing done. He looks like a Bollywood star.

Oh lookie! flowers!

One of the only bottles I bought without even looking at the price. I was half drunk too.

A view from Peterson's vineyard. I never fail to come here whenever taking the trip up. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Sometimes wish that I had a proper wide angle lens.

Beauty upon beauty...

the thirtieth

DONG DONG QIANG! Happy Chinese New Year! Here are pictures from Chinatown in Singapore. The amount of people was absolutely astounding. Can't imagine navigating through the pile of... individuals...

A shop selling stuff before the new year

A blind busker playing very nice tunes, located just outside the train station.

Chinese calligraphy.... A dying art..

Remember how I said that there were tons of people... well, ta-da!

Now this was absolutely... astounding... Naturally, the dogs were less entertained than the people taking photos.

The same location taken at three different heights.

Figured I'd have some human interaction in my photographs. Here's a family.. doing a selfie.. with a man clearly waiting for someone... or getting lost.

A couple doing a selfie.. how I wish to be young again..

A couple wanting their picture taken. They look like tourists.

Chinatown with the horses and the gold coins.

the twenty sixth

So I went to HCM...again... but this time, it was with a fair amount of locals..

"Bow wow old friend, bow wow...."

A local billiards parlour. Do you notice the table not having any holes? This pool parlour was an open-air one and was (literally) by the road side. There were approximately 8 tables.

Bananas by the roadside anyone?

This is absolutely wonderful! Its tapioca sweet stuff. I have no idea whats it called, but oh so delicious. Couple that with the amazing coffee and you get yourself an afternoon snack!

That orange thing by the side is a trash bin... yep, a trash bin... right next to a person cooking BBQ pork.

the twenty second

Seeing as how it was Deepavali over the weekend, I figured I would pop over to Little India to have a look see. Needless to say, it was everything I expect it would be.

Saw this trishaw of steel. hehehe. I wonder if he plays the Superman theme everytime he picks up a passenger.

Note to self: Ask my Indian friends what the flowers mean..

The aftermath of the night markets.

Now this was interesting. Context is everything.... Hopefully it was a sign to warn children not to touch the goods. *cough* slavery *cough*

Is something missing? Only in Little India folks!

When was the last time you saw a pharmacy/medical/health shop looking like this in Singapore...

I love the colours in this. Only in Little India would you find houses that are so colourful.

Looks like someone fresh off the boat, and might I add, he seemed a bit lost... and constantly checking his phone.

Should've got me one of these tattoos. I have to give it to this man though, he really has steady hands, the detail on this drawn tattoo is amazingly intricate.
