the twenty second

Seeing as how it was Deepavali over the weekend, I figured I would pop over to Little India to have a look see. Needless to say, it was everything I expect it would be.

Saw this trishaw of steel. hehehe. I wonder if he plays the Superman theme everytime he picks up a passenger.

Note to self: Ask my Indian friends what the flowers mean..

The aftermath of the night markets.

Now this was interesting. Context is everything.... Hopefully it was a sign to warn children not to touch the goods. *cough* slavery *cough*

Is something missing? Only in Little India folks!

When was the last time you saw a pharmacy/medical/health shop looking like this in Singapore...

I love the colours in this. Only in Little India would you find houses that are so colourful.

Looks like someone fresh off the boat, and might I add, he seemed a bit lost... and constantly checking his phone.

Should've got me one of these tattoos. I have to give it to this man though, he really has steady hands, the detail on this drawn tattoo is amazingly intricate.

the twenty first

It's been awhile since I had gone out and take photos, must've been my hectic work cycle. So I decided to head to Gardens by the Bay. So enjoy!

I think this is one of my best shots. As you can see, the mother is afraid of heights, and the children are holding onto her. The father, like the man he is, gleams over as if nothing is wrong. A very good moment. If anyone can identify who this family is, I would like to send them this picture.

I love me some patterns =)

And the supertrees! There was a light + musical display that evening and the supertrees were in full force. Now all we need are some treants along the sides to dance to the music.

the twentieth

So, I managed to go to F1 over the weekend, and it was a good walkabout ticket. Although I wish I had a fast camera for the car shots, but nevertheless, I still managed to make it somehow! Next time I go, I'll be sure to have a fast zoom with a full frame. Enjoy the pics!

These following two pics were not the F1 cars... I have no idea how to identify between them. Taken with my 35mm lens.

35mm shots.

A helicopter in the clouds... What I wouldn't give to have that view.

Dismantling the car.

How adorable... matching ear muffs... when there was no racing involved.

These four were taken with my 35mm.

So I figured I would try to take one with a zoomed lens... So I used my 55-200mm lens, and it seemed to do a pretty good job. However, the lens was not fast enough to catch most shots. You would not believe how many shots I had to take to get this one nice shot (and even then, I don't think it was a good shot)

So after the race, the organisers opened up the roads... I was happy to walk down the track!
